The weather in Le Puy has been difficult this summer. We have had 3 heat waves, but fortunately, no forest fires in our area. Last night we finally had rain that cooled down the temperature, but that came down hard for about 60 minutes. The Centre had some water leaks in the conference room and on the steps down to the basement. Fortunately, we caught it in time before it flooded. The old city had some flooded streets and Les Carmes, our 14th century parish, cancelled Saturday and Sunday's Mass because the floor of the church had to be cleared of water.
